No one can argue that in July of 2008 the mobile industry was
rocked forever. Of course, we are talking about the launch of Apple’s App Store.
Despite the fact that the three major console
makers were already experimenting with their own distribution
platforms, it wasn’t until App Store hit an astonishing 300 million
downloads, in the first 3 months of it’s existence, that the world
recognized the power of the .99 cent impulse purchase.
In November of 2007
[1], almost 9 months before the launch of the
App Store, we started developing for the iPhone. We would like to
say that we knew the iPhone was going to become such a
revolutionary device, but the truth of the matter is that we just
thought it was a cool phone. Talk about being at the right place at
the right time. When the App Store took off, we had a full 9 months of
a head start on the proprietary technology that allows us to create apps and
games much faster than our competition.
Now, nearly two years after we sat down to write the first line of code on our jailbroken iPhones, we have launched over 25 applications
for our clients on the App Store . We have brought on some of the game industry's best artists, designers, developers, and producers.
We have forged partnerships with some of the leading companies on App Store, and co-developed a title featured in Apple’s “it’s only rock and roll but
we like it” key note event of September 9th, 2009.
We consider ourselves experts when it comes to creating and launching titles on distribution platforms, including the App Store,
DSi & Wii (DSiWare and WiiWare), PlayStation Store (PSP Minis), Android Market, App Catolog, App World and Ovi Store.
We hope that we can help you develop your next title for one or more of these platforms. Please contact us using either
our request a quote form, or by filling out the form below to enter into an NDA.
